Recognizing the need for quality Christian education in Chicago’s Washington Heights and Brainerd communities, the Oakdale Covenant Church congregation in 1992 under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Willie B. Jemison established Oakdale Christian Academy and Childcare. Since its founding, Oakdale has been dedicated to providing exceptional education, childcare, and developmental services.

We are dedicated to the task we believe God has called us to do. As a result, we will do our best to provide qualified Christian personnel who possess the skills and abilities necessary to achieve our goals. We anticipate and encourage appropriate parent involvement in our school program, realizing that a quality educational environment, essential Biblical values, involved parents and caring teachers form the necessary components for developing the whole child.
